About us

Set up under the aegis of Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Social, Welfare & Educational Trust and established in the year 2001, Dr. Ambedkar Memorial Institute of Information Technology & Management Science (DAMITS), is the only institute of its kind to provide Professional, Technological Education to different segments of the society keeping in view the socio-economic policies of the government. Ours is a full-fledged, NAAC Accredited, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, AICTE approved, Govt. of Odisha recognized and University Affiliated [Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha and Sambalpur University, Burla] Institute which stands for its value-based Management System and Quality Education. It has been highly acclaimed as one of the popular institutes of our State for the last few years now. It has become a center of hope and aspiration for the Tribal and economically backward students. DAMITS is the only Institute in the state of Odisha which has been allotted 60 intake capacity for MCA & 60 intake capacity for MBA Courses in the year of its inception in consideration of its excellent infrastructure and potential for growth.
