The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of food borne illness with proper sanitary conditions and preventing adulterated food. At DAMITS, keeping in view the importance of a healthy diet, the canteen the menu is designed in such a way to offer nutritious and wholesome food. The Hostellers, Day Boarders and Staff are provided meals of assured food safety and quality. The canteen is equipped with modern cooking equipments which ensure hot breakfast, lunch and dinner both to the students and staff at reasonable rates.

The Institute campus provides the students a comfortable cafeteria to get relaxed during class break. The whole ambiance of the cafeteria is very pleasent and delightful for the students. The cafeteria provides quality food and remains open throughout the whole week. The prices of the food items are fixed by the college authorities and are easily affordable by the students. The quality of food items is regularly monitored by the Canteen in Charge
